On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers will play the Houston Rockets. But more significantly for some, Dillon Brooks is facing LeBron James.

James and Brooks have a long history together. Just last year, Brooks referred to LeBron as “old” and stated he wouldn’t be respected until he sank 40 on him.

In the postseason matchup between the Lakers and Brooks’ former team, the Memphis Grizzlies, the Lakers defeated Brooks’ squad in six games.

Despite joining the Houston Rockets this season, Brooks persisted in his trash-talking tendencies.

Before the game on Wednesday night, Brooks declared he was prepared to lock up LeBron.

And he seemed to take that a bit too seriously on Wednesday.

For now, though, Brooks is getting the last laugh, as his team is dominating LeBron’s shorthanded Lakers early.
