Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and his wife Mishel Gerzig enjoy a holiday in Sardinia, Italy, after being left out of the Euro 2024 squad.
Thibaut Courtois and his wife rented a yacht to vacation with friends and relatives while the Belgian team prepares to play Slovakia tonight.
The goalkeeper, who played 102 times for the national team, relaxed with his model wife during a vacation in the Italian sea.
The Sun commented that being left out of the plan to fight in Germany this time did not affect Courtois’ summer as he happily enjoyed the blue sea and golden sunshine in Sardinia.
Beauty Mishel Gerzig just gave birth to her first child in April. Thibaut Courtois also has two children with his ex-wife.
Last season, Courtois missed nine months of the season due to a knee injury. He returned to Real in the Champions League final on June 1, but was unable to convince coach Domenico Tedesco to give him a place at Euro 2024. Some sources said that Courtois and the national team coach had a conflict.
Courtois will soon return to training with Real to prepare for the new season.
Thibaut Courtois and the Israeli beauty have been dating since the summer of 2021 after the Euro that year. A year later, the 1992-born goalkeeper proposed to Mishel Gerzig. Their wedding will take place in the summer of 2023.
On her personal page, Courtois’ wife posted some pictures from her summer vacation last week.
