Harry Maguire Spotted Unwinding at Luxury Five-Star Spa Hotel in Turkey, Following Exclusion from England Squad by Gareth Southgate

Harry Maguire, the England player who was left off of Gareth Southgate’s Euro squad, was spotted relaxing in a five-star hotel in Turkey.

Yesterday, the 63-time national team captain for Manchester United, was sipping cocktails by the pool at the Maxx Royal Belek resort.

He was there with his family following his exclusion from the England squad for tomorrow’s start of the 2024 European Championship in Germany.

The first game will be played tomorrow night between the host country and Scotland. On Sunday, England will play Serbia, followed by Denmark and Slovenia.

Situated on the coast of Belek, the resort where Maguire has been vacationing is a five-star golf and spa facility.

A two-bedroom family room or a suite can cost you £865 or £554 per night, respectively, while the most luxurious accommodations can go up to £6,400 per night.

After spotting Maguire, a fellow vacationer commented, “He is in very good spirits.”

He seemed to be at ease. They just announced the squad a few days ago, so he must have booked the vacation at the last minute.

The 31-year-old Maguire has been a consistent member of Southgate’s team in the past, contributing goals at both the 2018 World Cup and the 2021 European Championship.

However, he has struggled with a calf injury lately, which prevented him from playing in Manchester United’s FA Cup final matchup with Manchester City on May 25.

Following his exclusion from the official England roster last weekend, Maguire expressed his sadness in an impassioned Instagram statement.

“I am crushed not to have been selected to play for England at the Euros this summer,” he wrote in his letter.

I’ve been unable to recover from a calf injury, despite my best attempts.
