The former Fulham striker Bobby Zamora, together with the players from Manchester United and Real Madrid, helped inaugurate the pitch at Bluewater shopping centre.

Bluewater, a Kentish shopping center, is now home to the Ballerz football dome.

At the Battle of the Ballerz, guests included Manchester United great Rio Ferdinand, Real Madrid great Roberto Carlos, and Bobby Zamora, a goal-scoring dynamo for Brighton and West Ham. The arena is thirty thousand square feet and cost several million pounds.

The facility was created by a group of experts in the hospitality and sports industries, including the three guys listed above as well as Mark Noble, a former West Ham midfielder. It provides a combination of training, gaming, and entertainment, and it uses cutting-edge pro-pitch equipment and immersive effects to enhance the experience for the public.

The facility, which features a six-a-side pitch and a SkillZone area, has been open to the public since May 18. From the tunnel and walkout area to the FX lighting, crowd noises, and goal highlights, it provides an experience similar to that of a professional footballer.

With the use of Ballerz QR wristbands, players can keep tabs on their stats and compete against their teammates, rivals, and even former professional players.

In his remarks prior to the grand opening, Ferdinand stated: “We’re giving the beautiful game a makeover, with a stunning pitch and unique touches that will create an electric atmosphere – including big screen replays, crowd noise, and all your best match highlights ready to share.” He went on to describe the venue as “electric” and promised a new pitch, as well as other improvements. With Ballerz, each player can experience the thrill of being a superstar.

The seven football fitness activities designed with our state-of-the-art technology in mind will put your physical, mental, and technical abilities to the test. With your QR wristband keeping track of everything, you can concentrate on setting personal bests and seeing whether you can surpass the scores of the Ballerz football greats.

The reaction to Ballerz’s development has been incredible, and Noble promised “big plans” for the debut. When it comes to entertainment, technology, and sports, we’re finding the sweet spot.

“Grassroots football is a massive part of the footballing community and we’ll also be hosting a lineup of local youth teams to test out the pitch ahead of the opening event.”

During Euro 2024, Ballerz will also be showing major matches, and fans can reserve seats and first-class amenities.
