During a talk show appearance on Monday, Lindsay Lohan revealed that Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry have become godparents to her son Luai.
The 37-year-old actress was asked by Jimmy Fallon, 49, about a photograph she took with Stephen, 35, last month when he autographed a jersey for Lindsay’s husband Bader Shammas at a Golden State Warriors game in Atlanta.
Jimmy took a closer look at the jersey and inquired as to what Stephen had written.
‘Oh. ”Your godparents love you!” Lindsay added.
‘So Luai’s godparents are Steph and Ayesha Curry?’ Jimmy inquired.
‘Yes,’ Lindsay confirmed.
‘That is not too horrible. How do you know each other? Jimmy inquired.
‘Well, my husband knows Michael Mina, the chef, and while we were in Dubai, Michael Mina kept telling Bader, ”You need to introduce Lindsay and Ayesha. Lindsay explained, “So, she happened to be coming to Dubai, and we met, and we just clicked right away.”
‘It’s so weird because, as you get older, you don’t make adult pals and friendships that blossom so quickly,’ she remarked.
Lindsay stated that Ayesha has been with her when she first intended to have children and during her pregnancy with baby Luai.
Ayesha plays Lindsay’s best friend in the upcoming Netflix film Irish Wish.
Lindsay stars in the fantasy romantic comedy as Madeline ‘Maddie’ Kelly, while Ayesha plays Heather.
Lindsay previously appeared in the popular 2022 Netflix holiday romcom Falling For Christmas.
Lindsay enthused about filming in beautiful Ireland and revealed that she is half Irish.
She said that her family is from Cork, and Jimmy joked that they might be relatives.
Jimmy remarked that Lindsay is incredibly amusing, praising her fantastic pratfalls and physical comedy.
‘There was more physical comedy in this film, which was enjoyable to do,’ Lindsay stated.
Irish Wish is set to be released on Netflix on March 15.
