In recent days, rumors began to appear that Barcelona wаnted to recruit striker Darwin Nunez from Liverpool.

Nunez was fiercely criticized.

In fact, the 24-year-old star is at the top of the list of strikers who have missed the most opportunities in the top 5 European leagues. Many enthusiastic fans even flooded Nunez’s personal page and attacked him, forcing him to delete the status lines he had posted about Liverpool. This also raises speculation about the future of the former Benfica player.

Barca is currently looking for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski and they are starting to consider the possibility of bringing Nunez to Camp Nou.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, it will be difficult for Barca to make a move because it is known that they face major financial barriers, while Liverpool does not want to sell Nunez at a cheap price.

Furthermore, new coach Arne Slot also appreciates the Uruguayan player and will find ways to help him play better in the new season.
