Liverpool 'make decision' on selling Darwin Nunez after he deletes Instagram posts about club

Liverpool is said to have made a choice about Darwin Nunez after seeing what he did on social media recently.

Following Liverpool’s easy 4–2 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon, Nunez was once again criticized for a lackluster appearance.

With 15 minutes left in the game, the Uruguayan was brought on for Luis Diaz but did not make a difference.

It was late, and Nunez missed a one-on-one. He was also offside when he set up Mohamed Salah to score. On Sunday night, it was seen that Nunez had deleted all of his Instagram photos that had anything to do with Liverpool.

Since then, there have been rumors that the 24-year-old forward might not be able to stay at Anfield.

Now, though, it’s said that Liverpool is not yet ready to give up on Nunez.

The Daily Mail said that Liverpool does not want to let go of the player they signed two years ago.

According to the story, Liverpool is not in a hurry to let Nunez go after only two seasons, especially since they would have a hard time getting back the huge fee they paid to sign him from Benfica, which could reach £85 million.

Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, said in March that Nunez has “quality coming out of his ears.”

His words were, “He had more than a good first season, but he had to learn how to fit in. Now that he has, he is settled in the middle of the team.”

“To be honest, he has talent coming out of his ears and loves playing for this team with these boys.”

Klopp also asked, “Is he generally at his best?” Not now for us. Can he grow, though? Yes. Is he always a threat? “Yes.”

Nunez has played 52 times for Liverpool this season and has scored 18 goals and set up 13 others.

A video of Darwin Nunez’s acts at the end of the Liverpool vs. Spurs game has been made public.

The Uruguayan switched places with Luis Diaz in the 75th minute of the 4-2 win, coming off the bench.

But Nunez wasn’t ready for the race. He missed a good chance and was offside when he set up Mo Salah.Given how much Liverpool paid for him and the fact that he still has big flaws in his game, fans are losing patience with the new player.

The way he played was criticized on social media, and many people thought Liverpool should get rid of him in the summer.

Nunez seems to have deleted all of his Instagram photos that had to do with Liverpool. The only ones left are of him with his family and with Uruguay.

His fans have also seen what he did after Spurs beat Chelsea on Sunday.

There is a video going around that shows Nunez going straight down the hallway after the game.

Nunez and Giovani Lo Celso do share a hug in the clip before Nunez leaves the field, while the rest of his friends stay and shake hands. This season, Nunez has scored 18 goals for Liverpool across all competitions, with 11 of those goals coming in the Premier League.

The former Almeria striker has scored more goals than he did in his first season, but some people are still not sure if he is good enough to lead Liverpool’s attack.

Nunez still has four years left on his Liverpool deal, and in March, Klopp defended him and his skills.

Speaking in a press conference, Klopp said: “He had absolutely more than an OK first season but he had to adapt, that’s done, and he is settled in the middle of the team.

“He loves to play for this team together with these boys and has quality coming out of his ears, to be honest.”
