Antony slammed over reaction with Mason Mount after Manchester United defeat to Crystal Palace

Antony and Mason Mount reacts after Manchester United's 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace

Jamie Carragher criticized Antony and Mason Mount for what they did right away on the field after Manchester United lost 4-0 to Crystal Palace on Monday night.

This team, led by Erik ten Hag, played badly at Selhurst Park. Michael Olise scored twice, and Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell also scored to give Palace a well-deserved win.

United fans cheered Ten Hag’s players on after the game, even though their team had played so badly. But Carragher was angry with Antony and Mount, who were talking as they left the field.

Antony was seen putting three fingers up to Mount while the two players talked, but both kept their mouths shut.

“Just get off the field!” an angry Carragher yelled as he watched the clip during Sky Sports’ review of the game end.

“I meаn talking, whispering behind your hand, you’ve been terrible.”

“He’s likely talking about one of the players, someone else, the plan, or the manager.”

“Get off the field, shut up, and go inside. You lost 4-0.”

“Honestly, whispering and talking about other players is embarrassing.”

When Antony talked to Mount, Paul Scholes saw it as a sign that he doesn’t like Ten Hag’s strategy.

She told Premier League Productions, “He’s got three fingers up there. I don’t know what that means.”

“He’s not happy with what Anthony is saying to Mason Mount,” Onana says, covering his mouth.

“What does that do?” I didn’t see any of them talking to each other on the football field.I think that’s bad for the boss because it doesn’t look good.

It’s clear that people are saying and talking things they don’t agree with. If he raises his three fingers, it’s clear that he means “we should have three in midfield.” We can’t read lips, I’m afraid.

“But things are clearly going wrong, and they don’t agree with what the manager is doing.”
