Ethan Wheatley quickly shared his feelings on social networks after making his debut for the Manchester United first team.

Ethan Wheatley, 18 years old, has become a first team player for Manchester United. This morning he made his debut for the Red Devils. Wheatley walked up to the touchline with a grin and patted Erik ten Hag on the back. Being introduced at Old Trafford makes everything even sweeter for the young star.

On top of that, Wheatley became the 250th academy graduate to make his Man United debut, a significant figure for the club, and the sixth player to do so under Ten Hag.

Wheatley has just been introduced to the first team.

This has been a special week for Ethan Wheatley, who played just 24 hours earlier for Manchester United Under-18s. He scored twice in 45 minutes on the field, helping Man United win 2-1 and win the U18 Premier League.

In his debut for the first team, Wheatley played 9 minutes of overtime and joined his teammates in celebrating a 4-2 victory. He wrote proudly on social media: “My dream of making my first appearance for my boyhood club at Old Trafford has come true , hopefully there will be many more in the future.”
