LeBron James has played in the postseason against some of the best players in the NBA over his 21-year career. Nikola Jokic is a superstar for the Los Angeles Lakers and stands tall among them.

“Among the greatest players that have ever played this game is him. According to Jovan Buha, James stated, “It’s that simple,” following the Lakers’ practice at Ball Arena.

James, a four-time MVP, noted how Jokic’s presence affects his teammates’ performance and attitude on the Denver Nuggets.

“He performs all tasks. LeBron emphasized, “The most significant thing is that he alters his teammates’ perceptions of their own play. “When you’re able to inspire your teammates to play at a level that sometimes they don’t even feel like they can play at, that’s a true testament of a great one.”

In the 2020 Western Conference finals, LeBron defeated Jokic in a five-game series; in the previous year’s conference finals, Jokic guided the Nuggets to a four-game sweep of James.

On Saturday, the Nuggets and Lakers will play the first game of their first-round series.
