Marcus Rashford’s brother slams Neville, Keane and Rio over ‘concerns’ for Man Utd star and fumes ‘pick up the phone’

Dwaine Maynard, the brother of Marcus Rashford, has urged commentators to “pick up the phone” if they have sincere worries for the Manchester United player.

Throughout the course of the season, Rashford, 26, has only managed eight goals and six assists across all competitions.

After the England forward’s lackluster performance against Brentford on Saturday, former Manchester United players Gary Neville, Roy Keane, and Rio Ferdinand shared their opinions about him.

But Maynard, the Man Utd ace’s agent along with brother Dane, criticized the Red Devils’ heroes on social media.

He posted on Instagram, saying: “I know all about podcasts and how they operate, but if you have any real questions, give us a call.

“We know each other or have crossed paths…”In my opinion, it is bad form and clickbаit to voice purported worries in order to solicit public opinion.

“The fun fact is that most of these shows or ex pros have asked for exclusives.”

Neville had stated earlier today on Sky Bet’s Stick to Football: “I don’t know how to sаy this but there’s something not right.” He is incorrect.

“And he doesn’t just appear unhappy; it’s not like he’s not playing football well. As I gaze, I find myself thinking, “I really am concerned about him.”.

“You know that feeling you get when you watch a player and sense something?

“We know there has been a couple of instances where he’s come under a bit of pressure, his form is bad, we know that, but it’s not right that.”Since he is not the same boy who grew up with the joy and freedom of playing for United as a child, I would sincerely worry about him right now.”

“There’s no doubt about his ability; he’s outstanding,” Keane continued. He does have a point, though. A player may experience a slump, but judging by the way he’s acting, he’s not having fun with the game.

“Although I wouldn’t sаy I’m concerned about him, there seems to be a problem with this young man.

You always criticize the individuals in his immediate vicinity, such as his management or family. Who is watching out for him on a daily basis?

“There’s nothing wrong with telling someone to come on, we need more from you, the good ol’ fashion way. There is a responsibility if the team isn’t performing well and you want to be the captain and have the big contracts.”Although I don’t believe that anyone is pursuing him, that doesn’t meаn he can’t continue to produce and operate a little bit.

“He’s been at the club a long time, since he was a kid, pressure effects players, body language, sometimes you’ve got to get hold of a player.”

Rashford, Ferdinand said, has a “big decision” to make regarding his future.

“I think this is a turning point in his career; he’s no longer a kid,” he remarked. He needs to make a significant decision, in my opinion. He needs to consider who is in his immediate vicinity. Who are the outsiders?

“Are they the proper individuals? Are they giving him the opportunity to justify himself in private? Or are they saying that you should take responsibility for your actions and examine yourself?

“You know what, I’ll get rid of them and stay in Manchester, or I have to leave Manchester and get rid of those people,” he might have to sаy.After playing through an ιnjury for over a month, Rashford will be looking to return to his goal-scoring ways this evening at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

Although Erik ten Hag, the manager, decided to start Rashford on the bench for the match, Man Utd is looking to challenge Tottenham, who are currently in fifth position, for a spot in the Champions League.
