Jurgen Klopp’s team continued to show poor performance when returning to the EPL arena.
Alisson Becker (6/10): The Brazilian goalkeeper did not have any chance in the situation leading to the opening goal. However, in the second half, Alisson spoke up with a timely reflex to help The Kop avoid a second goal.
Andrew Robertson (7/10): Robertson is the best player on Liverpool’s side. He contributed positively to the attack but also retreated in time to stop Michael Olise.
Virgil van Dijk (5/10): Average performance from The Kop captain.
Ibrahima Konate (4/10): The French player seemed quite confused by Crystal Palace’s attacks.
Conor Bradley (4/10): Palace focused on exploiting Bradley’s wings, causing him many difficulties. The young English player had to leave the field at the beginning of the second half because of an ankle injury.
Wataru Endo (4/10): The Japanese player participated actively in defense but was sloppy in holding the ball.
Alexis Mac Allister (4/10): Continuous competition seems to have affected the performance of the World Cup champion. A performance below Allister’s expectations.
Curtis Jones (2/10): Jones’ unforgettable day was marked by his inability to mark Eze, allowing the Palace star to comfortably score. Besides, Jones also missed a lot of passes.
Mohamed Salah (3/10): Salah had good opportunities to score, but the Egyptian striker could not shine when Liverpool needed him the most.
Darwin Nunez (October 3). As usual, Nunez showed an energetic performance but was too ungainly in his finishing. He could have helped Liverpool equalize the score at the beginning of the second half.
Luis Diaz (6/10): Diaz made it difficult for compatriot Munoz with his annoying dribbles, but the more he played, the more faded he appeared.
