There was said to be a conflict between coach Erik ten Hag and Alejandro Garnacho after the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.
Man Utd had another performance that left fans bored against Bournemouth. In the middle line with Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo almost failed to complete the task of dispute and interception and let the defense constantly suffer from face-to-face situations from Bournemouth.
In the end, the Red Devils were only lucky to win points thanks to 2 goals from Bruno Fernandes.
The draw almost closed the door to the top 4 for the Old Trafford team, because they were still 10 points behind Aston Villa.
Alejandro Garnacho was the focus of attention after Man Utd’s disappointing away draw. This player was replaced after 45 minutes, making way for Amad Diallo.
“Man Utd needs a change on the right wing. Garnacho only returned to practice the day before the match. I need a better source of energy to reinforce that position” is Coach Ten’s explanation. Hag for this decision.
However, it seems Garnacho is not satisfied. Garnacho responded by liking a post criticizing coach Ten Hag for replacing him early in the match against Bournemouth.
It can be seen that Garnacho was wrong to act like that. But coach Ten Hag was not entirely correct when criticizing this young talent in front of the media.
Putting all the responsibility on a 19-year-old player, who has rescued Man Utd many times this season, is clearly not the correct way to handle it.
If Garnacho could be advised to be more gentle, things might not be so stressful.
Regardless, Garnacho is going strong this season. Hopefully this is just a “small accident” so that the two teachers and students can continue to contribute to helping Man Utd play well for the rest of the season.
