Trent Alexander-Arnold picks his best footballer in the world but SNUBS Mo Salah in ‘football bracket’ knockout game – as Liverpool star picks Man United legend over team-mate instead

Mo Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold’s teammate at Liverpool, is not the player he believes to be the best football player in the world.

Although he thought Salah was better than one of Tottenham’s greats, he couldn’t defend giving the Egyptian phenom the world title.

During his free time, the injured Liverpool player participated in a “football bracket” challenge on TikTоk for JD Sports. The task asks people to select their favorite player from a list of sixteen, with the matchups between stars serving as a knockout tournament structure.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo faced off in Alexander-Arnold’s final, and he didn’t hold back in responding.

The Liverpool star picked Cristiano Ronaldo as a better player than team-mate Mo Salah

The Liverpool player ranked teammate Mo Salah inferior than Cristiano Ronaldo. He moved his head almost immediately toward the picture of Messi, expressing his belief that the Argentina star is the best player in the world.

Ronaldo had defeated Salah in the semifinals, a choice Alexander-Arnold had appeared hesitant to make, and Messi had defeated Karim Benzema.

Salah can’t be overly angry, though, as he was not present for Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Luton on Wednesday night at Anfield.

This is due to the fact that he defeated Harry Kane in a titanic round of 16 match in Alexander-Arnold’s made-up world, a stunning result that will undoubtedly create fury among Tottenham supporters.

Alexander-Arnold is expected to return in early March following yet another setback to his knee.

This is his third ιnjury setback of the year, and following Jurgen Klopp’s team’s ongoing struggles, supporters have questioned Liverpool’s medical staff.

Although Conor Bradley has done a fantastic job of stepping in for Alexander-Arnold and adding a great deal of creativity to the right-back position, the absence of their vice captain is painful.

It means that even though he has demonstrated time and time again this season that he is built for big moments—such as his goal against Manchester City—he will miss this Sunday’s matchup with Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final.

Alexander-Arnold is one of many stars out injured for Liverpool ahead of the Carabao Cup final

Ahead of the Carabao Cup final, Alexander-Arnold is just one of many Liverpool stars sidelined by ιnjury. The list of injuries that Klopp must deal with for the Wembley cup final is long.

Salah is being evaluated “day by day” and might be able to play, but that’s about as hopeful as it gets.

Alisson, Joel Matip, Thiago, Curtis Jones, Ben Doak, Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, and Stefan Bajcetic are all out.
