Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors rain 3 points on the LA Lakers: A challenge before the Play-in?

Facing the LA Lakers in an important match for the Playoffs race, the Golden State Warriors “gifted” their opponent with an elite 3-point shooting performance.

Meeting in the NBA series on the morning of April 10, Los Angeles Lakers (9th place, record 45-34) and Golden State Warriors (10th place, record 43-35) are both very eager to win.

Warriors want to defeat the Lakers to raise their hopes of climbing to 9th place or higher, 8th place in the rankings, two favorable positions in the Play-in group. The Lakers want to win so they can climb to 8th place and beyond towards the top 6 in the West.

LeBron James and Stephen Curry face off in a very important match for both of them in the last week of Regular Season

But on a disastrous day for those who love the yellow and purple team, everything did not go as planned.

The Los Angeles Lakers started with Anthony Davis, an important pillar in both defense and attack, unable to play due to injury.

LeBron James, with the team lacking personnel, had to play with an unstable condition. However, James’ efforts became meaningless when the Golden State Warriors had a long-range performance that went down in club history.

Anthony Davis’s absence led to LeBron James trying to play to improve the Los Angeles Lakers’ chances of winning. Unfortunately, this effort of his became meaningless on a day when the Warriors threw too well from distance

The Golden State Warriors seem to have turned the Los Angeles Lakers’ Crypto.com Arena into a shooting practice field. The whole team had a total of 26 3-pointers in the basket, achieving a “huge” success rate of 63.4% (26-41 3PT).

This is the game with the second most successful 3-pointers in Golden State Warriors history. Stephen Curry and his teammates are one long shot short of reaching the basket to equal the record of 27 3-pointers set exactly 1 year ago.

With this terrible long-range performance, Golden State defeated the Los Angeles Lakers on away field with a score of 134-120.

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors hit 26 3-pointers against the Los Angeles Lakers

On a day where many Warriors players played, Stephen Curry led the team with 6 3-pointers in a “no-miss” style, reaching 6-6 3PT with 23 points and 8 assists.

Also possessing a 100% rate is young defender Brandin Podziemski with 3-3 3PT and 5-6 FG. Gary Payton II, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins contributed another 10 3-pointers (10-18 3PT).

Even Draymond Green, who does not have a stable 3-point shooter, pocketed 5-7 3PT this match, leaving the field with 15 points along with 10 assists and 6 rebounds.
