Steph and Ayesha Curry recently received matching tattoos in remembrance of their kids.
On Tuesday, the basketball player and his spouse flaunted their new body art on Instagram.
With a comment that read, “Every [design] has a deeper meaning and representation to us,” Ayesha, 30, gave her 6.8 million followers an explanation of the symbolism behind the geometric animal designs.
The patterns featured unicorns, butterflies, and wolves. Steph chose to get his tattoo on his leg, while Ayesha chose to get his on her forearm.
Ayesha, a mother of three and culinary author, began the post with a humorous note, writing, “He luhhhhh matching my swag.”
“These are our babies’ signs that we have for them,” she continued. For us, each has a deeper significance and representation.
Son Canon is one year old, while Steph and Ayesha are parents to girls Riley, seven, and Ryan, four.
Canon will remain our little wolf forever. Ryan, our butterfly (the thought of her makes me cry with delight), and Riley, our horse (she is our firstborn and is free-spirited; we changed her into a unicorn).
‘Thank you again to @winterstone!!!’ she captioned her message to the artist.
Steph posted the identical picture, but he only included the wolf, butterfly, and unicorn emojis in his message.
The next day, Ayesha shared a picture of herself with her lover on the beach with the caption, “I just love doing life with you, my baby.”
I appreciate you supporting me and being there for me no matter what. Even after TWO surgeries in a month, you’ve been working so hard to heal your hand, and still you manage to be the most incredible husband, father, friend, and man. You are unique, my mother (I know everyone wonders, lol!)”
The two met while they were youngsters and have been married since 2011.
