Jones sustained the injury during Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Brentford on February 17th, causing him to miss nine subsequent games, including the recent 2-1 triumph over Brighton.

Jones has rejoined team training as Liverpool gears up for two crucial matches this week, as they currently lead the Premier League table by two points. The Reds are set to host Sheffield United at Anfield on Thursday before facing Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

While Jones is expected to be back in contention, it seems unlikely that Andy Robertson will be available due to an ankle problem sustained while on international duty with Scotland last week.

Speaking after the Brighton victory, Klopp provided an update on Jones, stating, “Full training is Curtis [Jones]. So, he trained already with us yesterday but then had extra because the [matchday] minus one session has not the intensity Curtis needed so he was with us and then he had an extra shift.
