In just 3 days, the striker known as “prodigy” Endrick scored consecutive goals for the Brazilian team in friendly matches against England and Spain.
Endrick already knows the feeling of scoring goals at the Santiago Bernabeu, his home stadium starting from June 30. This under-18-year-old striker only needed 5 minutes on the field to repeat what he did 3 days ago at Wembley against England. This time, he scored the goal to level the score 2-2 against Spain.
Just over 17 years old, Endrick is breaking boundaries one after another. When he received the ball in the penalty area, he shot with his left foot, hitting the opponent’s defender and beating goalkeeper Unai Simon.
Scoring 2 goals in 2 of the most famous stadiums in the world, just over a year ago, Endrick had not even debuted for the Palmeiras first team.
Endrick just came on the field and scored for Brazil against Spain
Against Spain, Endrick was brought onto the field after the break to coordinate with Vinicius and Rodrygo, who will become Real Madrid’s attacking partners next season. Therefore, even though Spain could not win (3-3), fans in the stands at the Bernabeu have reason to be happy about their scary trident in the near future.
In this friendly match, Spain led 2-0 but Brazil responded to equalize 2-2. In the last minutes, the European team led 3-2 but Lucas Paqueta was able to level the score 3-3. It is worth mentioning that Spain received two controversial penalties, in which Selecao players complained to the referee.
The first 45 minutes were tense, Spain dominated the game from the start and threatened Bento’s goal, exploiting the attacks of Nico Williams and Yamal very well. With the 16-year-old striker, the home team had the first goal after 9 minutes. Yamal was brought down by Joao Gomes in the box and Rodri scored from the penalty spot.
Endrick and Paqueta celebrate equalizing 3-3 for Brazil
Spain continued to dominate Brazil and scored the second goal thanks to Dani Olmo’s strike. Number 10 beat Beraldo, passing Bruno Guimaraes to create a stunning finish.
After Rodrygo pulled one goal back, coach Dorival Junior made four changes by bringing Endrick, Andre, Andreas Pereira and Yan Couto onto the field. As a result, Endrick immediately equalized 2-2.
It seemed like Spain won when they were awarded a second penalty, but Brazil did the same. Galeno was fouled by Carvajal in the penalty area and Paqueta successfully scored from the 11m mark.
