Manchester United’s rising star, Kobbie Mainoo, has received a significant promotion to the England senior squad for upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium. 

The 18-year-old midfielder’s inclusion in Gareth Southgate’s squad marks a rapid ascent, initially being named in the under-21s squad before earning a call-up to the senior team.

Mainoo, who has previously represented England at the under-17 and under-19 levels, has caught the attention with his impressive breakthrough this season. Christian Eriksen, commenting on Mainoo’s progress, acknowledged the healthy competition within the midfield, highlighting Mainoo’s positive impact on the team.
