By being named ‘Premier League Player of the Month for February’, star Rasmus Hojlund created history for Danish football.

The English Premier League organizers recently officially announced that the title of ‘Best Player of February 2024’ belonged to striker Rasmus Hojlund of Man Utd.

Hojlund was voted the Premier League’s best player of February thanks to his impressive performance in the MU shirt. This 21-year-old striker scored in all four matches. No player in the Premier League has been involved in as many goals as Rasmus Hojlund, with 5 goals and 1 assist.

Rasmus Hojlund created history for Danish football

By being honored, Rasmus Hojlund went down in Danish football history as the first player to receive this noble individual award in the Premier League.

Hojlund landed at Old Trafford from Atalanta last summer for £72 million. After a poor first 14 matches in the Premier League, he finally opened his goal account in the win over Aston Villa at the end of December last year. Up to now, Hojlund has scored 7 goals in the country’s highest tournament.

Rasmus Hojlund is currently out of action due to injury. Before sitting out, the Danish striker became the youngest player in Premier League history (21 years and 14 days) to score in 6 consecutive matches.
