Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum led the charge with 27 and 26 points respectively, highlighting the Celtics’ ability to overcome adversity and maintain their position as the Eastern Conference leaders.

Despite reaching the 50-win milestone for the third consecutive season, the Celtics remain focused on improvement, with Tatum emphasizing the team’s potential for further growth. Brown echoed this sentiment, expressing gratitude for being part of a winning team and emphasizing the team’s commitment to continuous improvement.

Deandre Ayton’s impressive performance for the Blazers, including his fifth straight double-double, was not enough to overcome the Celtics’ dominance. Boston’s strong road record, coupled with efficient play and minimal turnovers, allowed them to extend their lead and secure a comfortable victory.

Sam Hauser’s contributions off the bench were particularly noteworthy, as he provided a season-high six 3-pointers and 22 points, further showcasing the Celtics’ depth and versatility.

Despite missing key players, including Holiday and Porzingis, the Celtics maintained their composure and executed their game plan effectively. Tatum’s questionable status due to a right ankle issue did not hinder his performance, as he delivered another strong showing for Boston.
