Liverpool FC and LeBron James Launch Second Collaboration Collection

A year after the successful debut collaboration between Liverpool FC and basketball icon LeBron James, the two powerhouses have once again teamed up to unveil their latest bespoke athletic and streetwear collection.

The partnership comes hot on the heels of James’ monumental achievement of reaching 40,000 career points in the NBA, marking a significant milestone for the Los Angeles Lakers star.

Known for his affinity for Liverpool FC, James has been a devoted fan and a minority shareholder of the Premier League club since 2011, making the collaboration a natural fit.

To kick off the launch of the new collection, James joined forces with Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk, affectionately dubbed “VVD my guy” by the hoops star in a congratulatory message to the Netherlands defender on his captaincy.

Dubbed as “LBJ x LFC Chapter 2,” the collection seamlessly blends elements of football and basketball aesthetics. Highlight pieces include a limited edition hoop jersey, a football shirt, and a revamped version of James’ signature Nike LeBron sneakers, all featuring a color palette reminiscent of Liverpool’s iconic teal away strip.

Both jerseys proudly showcase the famous “YNWA” (“You’ll Never Walk Alone”) print motif across the midriff, woven into the fabric alongside James’ personal mantra “SFG” (“Strive For Greatness”).

The football shirt boasts a sleek black design with gold and teal accents, adorned with a tonal checkerboard pattern featuring squares, stripes, club crests, and James’ “King James” logo.

Meanwhile, the basketball version sports a vibrant blue-teal vest with black and gold detailing, incorporating the same intricate pattern and embellishments.

The collection’s standout piece, the LFC x LeBron Nike NXXT Gen Amplified trainers, features a white design with a teal sole, proudly displaying the Liverpool “Liver bird” club crest in gold on both the tongue and heel.

In addition to the signature pieces, the clothing capsule includes a range of t-shirts, a warm-up top, and a jacket, modeled by Liverpool stars such as Alisson Becker, Ryan Gravenberch, Taylor Hinds, and Andy Robertson.
