Maybe Klopp will take his mind off the task at hand and focus on Tuesday night’s events in England.

In the Carabao Cup, a young Liverpool team led by Neil Critchley will play Aston Villa in an attempt to disturb the status quo as the senior team tries to handle business in Doha.

Klopp is adamant that giving the Club World Cup priority was the right choice. “We had to make the decision,” he stated. Prior to the League Cup, we were informed that we would receive an invitation to the Club World Cup.

“We don’t fly that far and then not show up; we are here.” We’ve arrived here. We don’t care where it is.

Tomorrow night, we have a game against Monterrey, and we will be ready. The club will be winning the World Cup for the first time.
