After it was uploaded to the internet, a video that showed a young basketball fan’s surprised reaction when she found out that she was sitting next to the best player in the history of the sport went viral.
Gaia, a young child, was reportedly present at the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, and she was given the greatest seat in the house, as reported by CNN.
The NBA’s all-time top scorer was unable to participate in the game because of an ankle injury; yet, he was determined to not miss out on the excitement.
A young lady of twelve years old who was sitting courtside was approached by a man wearing a denim jacket and a green beanie who moved by her without making any noise.
As soon as Gaia became aware of who had taken the seat next to her, she immediately performed a split-second mental calculation.

As the young fan was unable to adequately express her sentiments of amazement and exhilaration, she covered her mouth in an attempt to conceal her emotions from the enormous man. However, she was unable to accomplish her goal.
The veteran of the National Basketball Association towered above the person sitting next to him even while he was seated.
When it was captured on tape by television cameras and published by the National Basketball Association’s Twitter account, fans couldn’t get enough of her reaction, and it quickly became a viral moment.
One individual made the following observation: “Perfect response for sitting next to the goat!”
Someone another made a comment that said, “This is the only appropriate response when King James is sitting next to you.”
According to the statement of a third person, “She is not different from me [for real].”
Lisa Salters, an ESPN reporter who was covering the game from the sidelines, was able to provide Gaia with the opportunity to connect with her.
“It is obvious that I am not as tall as him, so I could only see his shoes,” Gaia stated to the reporter. “When he ended up sitting down here, I was the only one who could see his shoes.”
“Then I look up, and there’s LeBron James sitting next to me, and what’s going through my mind is, ‘Oh my God, the greatest player of all time in basketball is sitting next to me!’”
“I just completely lose it, and all that’s going through my head is, ‘Oh my goodness, this is probably the best moment of my life.'” says the person.
Certainly, that is a pretty reasonable reaction.
Gaia disclosed that the tickets were presented to her with the expectation that she would be able to witness LeBron James go beyond his previous record during the game in question.
Not being able to watch James play at all was a source of great disappointment for her.
However, there is little doubt that this experience proved to be more than sufficient compensation.
Even more impressive was the fact that she was able to meet the NBA great, and the Lakers even published a photo of the two of them together after the game.
