According to ESPN, the Old Trafford team will have a drastic change in strength in the summer of 2024.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has completed the acquisition of 25% of Man Utd shares, making him the largest shareholder at Old Trafford.
Ratcliffe immediately began making changes at the “Theater of Dreams”, when Omar Berrada and possibly Dan Ashworth joined from Manchester City and Newcastle United respectively.
Two players no longer have a future at Man Utd.
After getting the right people at the leadership level, Ratcliffe will focus on upgrading the squad. But in the immediate future, Man Utd will push away unsuitable players.
And ESPN said this summer’s transfer window will be used by Ratcliffe to liquidаte the first team, with 11 players up for sale .
Harry Maguire,
Scott McTominay,
Aaron Wan-Bissaka,
Casemiro,
Raphael Varane,
Christian Eriksen,
Victor Lindelof,
Jadon Sancho,
Donny van de Beek,
Brandon Williams
and Facundo Pellistri could all be sold if Man Utd receive the right offer .
The most surprising is the cases of Maguire and McTominay. Both almost left the club and joined West Ham in the summer of 2023. Currently, the duo is playing well, contributing to the Red Devils’ achievements.
