Rio Ferdinand and Kate have lavished £40,000 on two well trained security dogs.

The couple, who are expecting their first child together later this year, reportedly purchased the dogs to protect their family, a source told The Sun Online.

Rio Ferdinand is using this vicious guard dog to increase security at his property in London.

 

The former England star shared a photo of himself with the German shepherd that a canine rescue organization is training.

Rio resides in South East London with his spouse, Kate.

They already own a Chihuahua together.

It comes after a run of well-known football player break-ins this year that targeted players like Fabinho and Dele Alli.

An insider claims that Kate and Rio went to the renowned Chaperone K9, a distinguished establishment renowned for having experts teach breeds to be peaceful family companions that would explоde into yelling monsters if they detect a dаnger.

Rio Ferdinand worries for his wife Kate, 31, and their three children’s safety at their South East London property, while he travels for business on a regular basis.

“They already have strict measures in place, but you can’t be too careful,” the person said.

“Having a dog makes sense because they enjoy taking walks in the countryside as a family.”

By tagging Kate and Rio in an Instagram photo showcasing the “stunning” dogs, Chaperone K9 verified The Sun Online’s report.

They had earlier posted a picture of Rio with one of the dogs, along with Kate’s cherished animal companion.
