When the Lakers play the Celtics, they will be missing both LeBron James and Anthony Davis for the first time this season. This will be the first time that the Lakers have been without one of their two most prominent players.
Davis has been diagnosed with bilateral Achilles tendinopathy and a left hip spasm, while James has been diagnosed with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, according to the Lakers.
James posted an hourglass emoji on social media after the Lakers suffered a loss in Atlanta on Tuesday. This comes after the Lakers have lost two consecutive games in a manner that was lopsided.
In a conversation with the media that took place at the shootaround on Thursday morning in Boston, Davis stated that his injuries were getting better.
According to him, “I am feeling a little better.”
It was some hours later when he and James were demoted.
After playing in Boston on Thursday, the Los Angeles Lakers still have two games left on their road trip. These games are scheduled to take place in New York and Charlotte. These three games are also the last three that the Lakers will play before the trade deadline arrives in the NBA.
