Man Utd’s homepage announced that another player promptly bid farewell to Old Trafford before the January 2024 transfer deadline.

Specifically, Man Utd confirmed: “Winger Facundo Pellistri has joined Granada on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The Uruguayan international will continue to hone his experience in La Liga.”

The 22-year-old player, who signed with the Red Devils in October 2020, previously played in Spain during consecutive loan spells with Alaves.

 Pellistri temporarily parted ways with Man Utd.

This season, Pellistri has made 14 appearances for Man Utd. He was an unused substitute last weekend, when Erik ten Hag’s team defeated Newport County 4-2 in the FA Cup arena.

Pellistri’s last appearance for the Red Devils was in the previous round, in a 2-0 victory over Wigan Athletic.

Pellistri, who has played for the national team 18 times, will hope to help Alexander Medina’s team successfully survive relegation, currently ranked 19th on the La Liga rankings.
