It would appear like the situation in Los Angeles is reaching a point of no return. 

The Los Angeles Lakers faced yet another humiliating defeat away from home on Tuesday night, this time at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks, who defeated them by a score of 138-122. 

After learning that Jaxson Hayes would be starting at center, Christian Wood may have made a social media dig at head coach Darvin Ham less than an hour before the game began. D’Angelo Russell was being mercilessly heckled by Hawks supporters in the arena, and Christian Wood may have thrown a social media attack at Darvin Ham. 

Furthermore, there is the late-night tweet that LeBron James sent out, which caused social media to go into a complete and utter frenzy: 

Is there a specific meaning behind this tweet? Although we know James well enough to know that during his career, he has not been bashful about conveying veiled messages using a platform like as X, an hourglass could be considered to be quite harmless. 

Keep in mind that this message was posted at approximately 2:30 in the morning on the East Coast, which is where he is now residing. 

The Lakers are currently tied with Utah for the final play-in position, which they reached as a result of the loss. Los Angeles is only 0.5 games ahead of Houston and 1.0 games ahead of Golden State as of the 31st of January. 

It was fairly obvious from the beginning of the game against the Hawks that the defensive effort was not going to be there. As a result of the numerous nagging injuries that Anthony Davis was suffering from, the paint was effectively a free-for-all for Atlanta, allowing the team to take any shot it desired on the court. In his postgame interview, James gave the impression of being despondent after the game, but there was also a trace of fury here and there. Considering that the squad has been playing in a manner that is inconsistent for more than half of the year, it is acceptable. 

Over the course of practically all social media platforms, Ham has been used as a scapegoat. The coaching abilities of this individual have been called into question on a consistent basis, and many people are curious about the reasons behind some of the lineup and rotation patterns that he follows. 

As the level of irritation continues to rise, one cannot help but feel curious about the path that this franchise may take in the years to come.
