The Boston Celtics are making waves this NBA season, currently leading the Eastern Conference with an impressive record more than halfway through the campaign.

Jayson Tatum, a driving force for the Celtics, has been instrumental in their success, guiding them to a remarkable 20-2 record at TD Garden.

Despite previous criticism directed at Boston fans by various NBA players, Tatum defended the Celtics’ loyal supporters, noting that he has been fortunate to experience their unwavering backing for seven years. Responding to the criticism, Tatum acknowledged, “I’ve been very fortunate, seven years now, to be in Boston and they truly do have the best fans in the league.” He highlighted the fans’ consistent support and expressed a desire to repay them with stellar performances on the court.

Jrue Holiday gives candid take on Celtics' blowout loss

Addressing the recent loss to the Nuggets, Tatum said, “I’m sick that we lost that last game. I was trying to damn near go undefeated at home. But 20-1 is not a bad start. It’s been fun to see.”

Tatum spoke highly of the current Celtics roster, considering it one of the most talented teams he has played on. He credited new additions such as KP and Jrue Holiday for bringing a different dynamic to the team. Tatum emphasized the collective sacrifice for the greater good, stating, “Nobody’s necessarily going to have a career year points per game-wise because we’re all sharing the wealth.” He highlighted the team’s ability to work together, putting an emphasis on enjoying each other’s success and having fun in the process.

Despite individual achievements, Tatum remains focused on contributing to the team’s success. He is poised for another All-Star Game appearance, which would mark his fifth consecutive selection. As part of his partnership with Ruffles and Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson, Tatum will be in Indianapolis launching “Ridgeline Unlocks” and offering two lucky fans a unique opportunity to take a shot from a four-point line before the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game next month.
