Jordan Walsh Recalled from Maine Celtics ahead of Wednesday’s Game

In a pre-game announcement on Tuesday, the team disclosed a roster move, recalling Jordan Walsh from the Maine Celtics. The 38th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Arkansas, Walsh is yet to make his debut for the Celtics, having spent most of the season with the Maine Celtics in the G League.

During his time in the G League, the 19-year-old showcased his skills, averaging 14.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in 16 Showcase Cup appearances. Walsh maintained shooting efficiency, with a 43.8% field goal percentage and a 34.1% three-point shooting rate. Additionally, he has appeared in eight regular-season games.

The Celtics currently lead the Eastern Conference with an impressive 31-9 record in their first 40 games, marking a sensational start to the season. They carry a two-game winning streak and stand at 7-3 over their last ten games. In their latest outing, the Celtics secured a 105-96 victory over the Toronto Raptors in Canada, with all five starters scoring in double digits and Jrue Holiday and Derrick White combining for 44 points.
