Coach Jurgen Kopp and his team had an emotional comeback to take advantage in the League Cup semi-finals.

 On a day without many pillars, Liverpool still excelled in defeating Fulham 2-1 in the semi-final first leg of the English League Cup.

 Jurgen Klopp’s team faced many difficulties when welcoming Fulham at home. In the first minutes, Liverpoo did not seem to be able to get into the rhythm of the match, so they continuously made unsafe moves.

 They received cold water in the 19th minute, after midfielder Virgil van Dijk’s careless defense. Willian took advantage of the opportunity and opened the score.

 For the rest of the match, The Kop played completely deadlocked.

 That’s when the turning point appeared. The home team at Anfield continued to show the bravery of the “King of Uphills” over the past time. 

 In the 68th minute, Curtis Jones’ long-range shot grazed midfielder Tosin Adarabioyo and changed direction, causing the ball to fly in an uncomfortable shape out of goalkeeper Bernd Leno’s reach, leveling the score.

 Taking advantage of the victory, it only took 3 minutes for Cody Gakpo to score the second goal for Liverpool.
