Five Man Utd stars leave in January transfer window as Erik ten Hag ruthlessly clears dead wood

Under the terms of the January transfer window, Manchester United may be able to sell FIVE additional players.

It has been confirmed that Sir Jim Ratcliffe has successfully completed his 25 percent buyout of the club and is now prepared to assume leadership of the football operations.

It is the desire of the British billionaire to completely revamp United’s transfer system and get rid of the pricey failures that were signed by the previous administration.

During this time, Donny van de Beek has signed a loan agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt, which has the potential to become a permanent arrangement.

Furthermore, Sergio Reguilon’s contract has been terminated, and he will be returning to Tottenham after spending only four months at Old Trafford Football Club.

There is a high probability that Erik ten Hag will continue to remove deadwood from the squad, and other departures are anticipated.

Jadon Sancho

A move back to Borussia Dortmund is apparently in the cards for Sancho, which will put an end to his misery playing for Manchester United this month.

As a result of his altercation with Ten Hag in public, the winger has not participated in any games since September.

According to Sancho, he was made to feel like a “scapegoat” by his manager, and he was forbidden from participating in training because he refused to apologize for his actions.

The Borussia Dortmund club is currently in negotiations to re-sign the England star on loan, and the Red Devils are planning to contribute to covering his weekly salaries of £350,000.

The 23-year-old player is open to the possibility of returning to Germany, where he played 137 games and scored 50 goals between the years 2017 and 2021.

Anthony Martial

Because his contract is set to expire in the summer, it is possible that Martial will also be included in the clear out.

Despite the fact that Manchester United has the ability to activate a one-year extension, sources indicate that the club has no intention of keeping him.

They have the option of cashing in this month in order to avoid losing him without compensation.

It has been reported that Fenerbahce, Marseille, and Inter Milan are all interested in acquiring the forward.

Casemiro

Ratcliffe is eager to put an end to United paying prices that are excessively high for players who have played their best in the past.

Casemiro has had a difficult time this season due to injuries and his form, after having a successful first year.

The United club is willing to sell the midfielder if they receive an offer that is sufficiently substantial.

According to reports, Ratcliffe and Ten Hag have come to terms with the fact that they would not be able to recoup the seventy million pounds that they paid for him eighteen months ago.

On the other hand, the club is anticipating that a Saudi Arabian club will offer them a substantial amount.

It has been alleged that John Murtough, the director of football at Manchester United, has been in discussions with chiefs in the Middle East as the club works to sell players.

Raphael Varane

Another supposedly mentioned by Murtough was Varane.

The centre-back could leave on a free at the end of the season after the Red Devils declined to trigger an extension in his contract.

He can talk to foreign clubs this month, fuelling rumours of an early departure.

Varane has fallen out of favour with Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans moving ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Lens and a Saudi Arabian side.

Sofyan Amrabat

Since taking a loan from Fiorentina in the summer, Amrabat has not been able to make a good impression on anyone.

There have been indications that there is interest in Youssouf Fofana, a midfielder for Monaco, and there have been claims that Ten Hag is already open to the possibility of replacing him this month.

A provision in Amrabat’s contract at Old Trafford allows for the possibility of the transfer becoming permanent at the conclusion of the current campaign.

Nevertheless, SunSport has disclosed in an exclusive report that the club does not want to activate that clause since they believe the Moroccan player is not a good fit for the Premier League.

In a manner comparable to that of Reguilon, there have been rumors that Manchester United co

uld even try to rip up his contract and see his loan spell cut short.
