The 29-year-old’s career has taken off after he was acquired by the Reds from Hull in 2017 for £8 million.

He’s played 243 games for the team and helped them win multiple titles, including the Premier League and Champions League in 2019 and 2020, respectively.

Even though Liverpool’s most recent season was a disаster, Robertson set a new Premier League record for assists by a defender by tallying 11.

Robertson founded the AR26 foundation in November 2020 off the field with the intention of giving young people in Scotland access to free football coaching, training, and mentoring.

James Milner, a former teammate who is now an MBE recipient, was honored for his contributions to the world of sports and charity earlier this year.

The 37-year-old ended his eight-year stint at Anfield after his contract expired this summer, and the former England international has since relocated to Brighton.

Previous Liverpool players to receive the MBE include Ian Rush (1996), Gary McAllister (2002), and Steven Gerrard (2007). Jordan Henderson received his in 2021.
