NBA star takes an indefinite break from competition due to… a dog bite

According to the Denver Nuggets Club, Aaron Gordon has suffered a rare injury. Specifically, the star of the reigning NBA champion was attacked by a dog. It is known that this pitcher born in 1995 suffered lacerations on his hands and face and required a total of 21 stitches. Until now, there are still no further details about Aaron Gordon’s accident.

Head coach Michael Malone said there is currently no official schedule for Gordon’s return. In the immediate future, the Denver Nuggets Club will let Aaron Gordon rest until he fully recovers both physically and mentally.

“Gordon is okay. Obviously, this is not a pleasant and scary experience. The team will give Gordon as much time as possible to recover. We are a big family, so the whole team will always be together. I told the players to ask directly about Gordon regularly to help him have a better spirit,” said head coach Michael Malone of the Denver Nuggets Club.

Aaron Gordon’s absence is a major loss for the Denver Nuggets Club. The star born in 1995 has always been considered a key factor of the reigning NBA champion for many years. Before getting injured, so far in the 2023 – 2024 season, Gordon averaged 13.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, contributed 3.4 assists and played 32 minutes per game.
