LeBron James takes centre stage on Christmas Day again in NBA’s annual festive feast

While others are opening presents, the 38-year-old basketball legend is frequently giving buckets and entertainment.

Outside of the United States, watching live sports on Christmas Day is nearly unimaginable.

But it’s one of the biggest events on the NBA calendar, and it’s just another day at the office for James.

On the holiday, the NBA usually broadcasts five games on national television throughout the day and night.

Until recently, it was the first time of the season when games were shown on free-to-air television.

It’s still one of the biggest days on the basketball calendar, with players like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and others taking center stage.

This year, James will play in his 18th Christmas Day game, the most in NBA history.

On the big day, he collected 460 points and gave spectators some spectacular performances.

His Los Angeles Lakers will meet the Boston Celtics in the premier event of the NBA Christmas Day program this year.

With 17 NBA championships each, the Lakers-Celtics rivalry is one of the most recognizable in American sports.

The Golden State Warriors are third with seven championships, while the Chicago Bulls have six.

The Lakers and Celtics have met in the NBA Finals 12 times, with Boston winning eight of them.

The New York Knicks will take on the Milwaukee Bucks at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Christmas Day.

The Denver Nuggets, last season’s NBA champions, will then meet Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

The third game on the schedule is Boston vs. LA, followed by two night games to close up the holiday slate.

The Philadelphia 76ers play the Miami Heat before the Dallas Mavericks play the Phoenix Suns.

James is nearing the conclusion of the year and ready to enter a key year for his legacy in 2024.

He is vying for his fifth NBA championship, which would place him only one title behind Michael Jordan, the guy he is vying to be the greatest basketball player of all time.

Stephen Curry has also become a Christmas Day regular in the NBA

The Lakers just won the NBA’s first-ever in-season tournament, demonstrating that they had a team capable of mounting a championship bid.

James also intends to compete at the Olympics in Paris next summer, when he hopes to win a third gold medal after Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012.

Christmas is one of the biggest days in the NBA calendar with five back-to-back games

With his Lakers contract about to expire, there will be plenty of conjecture about his future.

His son Bronny is about to join the league, and LeBron has long expressed a desire to play professional basketball alongside his son.
