Hojlund scored his first goal, Ganarcho shined, Man Utd made a classic comeback to defeat Aston Villa 3-2

In the first half of the Premier League match, Manchester United had a two-goal lead against Aston Villa. However, due to a double from Ganarcho and a goal from Hojlund in the second half, the home team was able to come back and win the match 3-2.

Round 19 of the Premier League saw Manchester United play host to Aston Villa at their own stadium. The side coached by Ten Hag did not perform well in the first half. The offense was not very effective, and the defense was rather poor, which resulted in Aston Villa taking a 2-0 lead when the first half of the match finished. Both McGinn and Dendoncker scored goals for the away team. McGinn scored in the 21st minute, while Dendoncker scored in the 26th minute.

I was under the impression that Manchester United would suffer their ninth loss in the Premier League this season. Nevertheless, something that was not anticipated occurred in the second half of the contest. Manchester United was able to generate the best second half of the match since the beginning of the season by exploding in an unusual manner.

It was in the 48th minute when Garnacho scored a goal for Aston Villa, but the goal was disallowed by the video assistant referee. The young Argentine player, on the other hand, proved his destiny to score goals by scoring goals in the 59th and 71st minutes of the match. The goal that Hojlund scored in the 82nd minute was not only a spectacular goal but also his first goal in the Premier League. The goal was scored by Aston Villa. Man United emerged victorious with a score of 3-2.

After suffering a two-goal defeat at the hands of West Ham, Ten Hag’s team came into the match against Aston Villa at home with a heavy mentality. With Varane making a full recovery from his illness and Eriksen now being in good enough health to return to the starting lineup, the Dutch strategist was given some encouraging news regarding the team’s players.

Immediately following the blow of the opening whistle, the home team made an attempt to exert pressure, but they launched an excellent onslaught. The 21st minute saw McGinn take a free kick on the left side of the field. Specifically, he hung the ball into the goal of Manchester United. Although a large number of players rushed in, nobody touched the ball. After making contact with the ground, the ball rolled into the net.

It was a significant error on the part of the goalkeeper, Onana, as Manchester United’s last stop was of a passive nature before to the opponent’s free kick. Perhaps Onana was under the impression that the ball would be headed by someone else, despite the fact that he had the ability to completely rush out and punch the ball thanks to the advantage of his hands, as the place at which the ball would land was directly in front of him.

United players were left speechless after the defeat. Quickly, Aston Villa delivered a “second punch” to the game. During the 26th minute, Lenglet headed the ball for Dendoncker to score from a distance of less than 5 meters. This occurred after the corner kick had been taken first. Before the goal was scored, Manchester United’s defense was completely bewildered.

When there was nothing left to lose, Manchester United made an effort to get back on track, but the counterattacks that the home team launched were unsuccessful. After the break, Manchester United was still unable to completely dominate the away team; but, the counterattacks of the home team were significantly more dangerous than they had been in the first half.

The goal was scored by Ganarcho after Rashford made a deft pass to Ganarcho, who then scored by passing the ball past Martinez, the goalie. Due to the fact that the video assistant referee (VAR) ruled that the Argentine player was not on the field, the goal was not acknowledged.

In the 59th minute, Manchester United “did it again” by continuing to produce a precise cross from the left flank to the right wing for Ganarcho. In order to bring the score down to 1-2, the Argentine player deftly cushioned the ball into the net of the other team. This time around, Garnahco’s objective was entirely legitimate.

Even though they were unable to establish a dominant position, Manchester United was unexpectedly effective. A man from the opposing team stopped Fernandes’ cross in the 71st minute, which allowed Garnacho to complete the play at the top of the penalty area with a hurried effort. Martinez was defeated in his attempt to block the ball when it struck the foot of a player on the opposing team and changed its course.

Despite the fact that Manchester United had tied the score at 2-2, Aston Villa continued to press forward in an effort to score more goals. The away team was still hoping to win at Old Trafford. A shot from close range was taken by McGinn in the 72nd minute, but Evans was able to successfully stop the ball with his leg, so preventing the home team from suffering a noticeable deficit.

In the 82nd minute, McGinn became a criminal by accident when the ball hit his thigh and flew out in the middle of the penalty area after a corner kick. This caused him to become charged with a crime. Hojlund swiftly volleyed the ball, and it touched the edge of the left post and into the net, bringing the score to 3-2 for the team that was playing at home. Man United was awarded three vital points as a result of Hojlund’s goal.
