beIN Sports host Richard Keys spoke about Kostas Tsimikas’ serious ιnjury in the match against Arsenal.
Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas suffered a broken collarbone as his side drew 1-1 with Arsenal at Anfield. Tsimikas was figҺting for the ball with Gunners winger Bukayo Saka, who pushed him to the ground, and then he collided with coach Jurgen Klopp when he fell down.
After a long period of treatment, Tsimikas could not continue playing and had to be replaced by Joe Gomez. The Greek international has been hospitalized and although there is still no official diagnosis, he looks set to be out of action for a long time.
Tsimikas collided with Klopp.
Richard Keys commented: ” It’s ironic that it’s Klopp , but that’s exactly why a coach too close to the playing area is so dangerous.”
Klopp told the BBC after the match: “I think it’s not really a problem because I don’t feel any pаin. I would happily donate my collarbone and he would be fine. I was completely fine at that time. I thought Kostas was too but he said ‘no, it’s broken’. Of course that’s not nice right in front of you when you’re there, involved.”
