Stephen Curry passes 3,500 three-pointers mark in Golden State Warriors win

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Brooklyn Nets, and Stephen Curry became the first player in NBA history to reach 3,500 three-pointers.

Midway through the first quarter, Curry exceeded the milestone, and as the Warriors prevailed 124-120, he finished with 37 points, including six three-pointers.

In the fourth quarter, the 35-year-old sealed the victory with 12 straight points in less than two minutes.

The Warriors’ three-game losing slide came to an end.

Along with four other Warriors players who scored in double figures, teammate Klay Thompson finished with 24 points to move into ninth place on the career three-pointer leaderboard.

The Nets lost for the third time in four games on a five-game trip, despite having two chances to equal or take the lead in the last minute and 28 seconds led by Cam Thomas, who finished with a game-high 41 points.
