Your Los Angeles Lakers will be missing at least one major rotation player (plus one little-used rookie) when they host the New York Knicks tomorrow at Crypto.com Arena, but it appears that they may be missing three other key frontcourt rotation pieces in All-Stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, as well as versatile reserve power forward Jarrett Vanderbilt. Gabe Vincent and Jalen Hood-Schifino are out, while D’Angelo Russell and Jaren Vanderbilt are both expected to play.
The Knicks, on the other hand, will have a mostly healthy lineup.
According to the NBA’s most recent injury report, starting center Mitchell Robinson (out for several months due to a left ankle injury) is the only New York player on the team’s regular roster who will miss tomorrow. Charlie Brown Jr., Jaylen Martin, and Jacob Toppin are all playing for New York’s Westchester G League affiliate.
