During the fourth quarter, Curry made all seven of his shots, which allowed Golden State to narrowly defeat Brooklyn.

The appearance that Stephen Curry possessed was that of a man who has had a sufficient amount of Saturday night. A drama with Draymond. twelve defeats out of sixteen games. His leadership is being called into question by the shock jock, regardless of how ludicrous such a viewpoint may appear to anyone with a head that is even halfway level. His own personal mini slump, which consisted of him missing 21 of 28 three-point shots over the course of his previous two games. 

That’s right. It’s enough. 

The Warriors defeated the Nets by a score of 124-120, and Curry scored 37 points in the game. He put his foot completely down by scoring 16 points in the final six and a half minutes of the game, shooting seven for seven from the field in the fourth quarter. Out of his eight triples, he made six of them. In his career, he set a new record with three blocks.

In continuation, Kerr stated, “Tonight, Steph got off to a sluggish start…” He did not appear to be in possession of it. And then, as he has done so frequently in the past, he turned on the switch. As soon as it takes place, you are able to observe it in a certain way. Truly, he was remarkable. That was just what we required. “We are currently in a bit of a rut, and it is imperative that your best players help you break out of that.”

I agree with Kerr. During the course of this season, Curry has carried an extremely disproportionate amount of the weight for the Warriors. He is the only reason they have not already drowned, despite the fact that they are barely able to stay afloat currently. Therefore, what exactly is this rut that the Warriors are currently in, as Kerr refers to it? Still, they are in the game. Every once in a while, Curry is going to transform into Superman. Assuming that such a performance is required in order to defeat a team that is only average at home, it is safe to say that the positive emotions will not last for very long. 

One piece of positive news is that Klay Thompson may be beginning to find his stride. Since being benched in the final minutes of the game against Phoenix, which occurred less than a week ago (a decision that caused genuine shock waves, even if Thompson’s performance had long merited a relegation), Thompson has scored 54 points on 12-of-21 three-point shooting over the course of his last two games. 

Andrew Wiggins, who was now coming off the bench, gave significant minutes and buckets on Saturday. Meanwhile, Brandin Podziemski, who was the replacement for Wiggins in the starting lineup, was fantastic, as he has been for some time now, with 19 points and four triples. 

Only twelve minutes were played by Moses Moody, who had been showing true signs of improvement for a while now. If Thompson is playing at his best, Moody is not going to be able to provide him with consistent minutes. It is not easy. He is an excellent player. 

Even now, the Warriors are in need of a trade. It is impossible to predict how long Green will be suspended indefinitely; nonetheless, it is quite unlikely that he will return to the team in the near future. When Jesus does return, he will not be a savior even if he does. If you believe that this Thompson run is a portent of things to come, then Golden State needs to find some meaningful scoring help for Curry. 

In my own opinion, I do not. I believe that now that we have seen enough of the post-injury, obviously aged Thompson, we are able to state with a reasonable bit of surety that he is going to be a man who is hit or miss. He is hitting at this very moment. 

With that being said, Steph is going to find himself in a position where he is once again on his own. Even though Klay Thompson and Steph Curry were both on fire on the same night, they were only able to narrowly defeat the Nets. 

I am aware of the fact that Green was not participating in the game. At this moment, it is absurd to act as if even the Warriors at full strength are anything more than a team that is capable of playing at a level that is in the middle of the pack, give or take. Since the beginning of the season, their starting lineup, which was once a true basketball tornado, has been unremarkable. 

If you want to avoid making a big deal out of Saturday night, keep all of this in mind. It required a lot of effort to achieve victory over a squad that was only average, but it was worth it. On the other hand, they understood it. And for the time being, Steph Curry and the Warriors are willing to accept anything that comes their way.  Try not to let this person know that it is December. Immediately following the sound of the buzzer, Curry strutted about and roared as if the Warriors had just triumphed in a close playoff game. Even if you think that this is a bit excessive for a four-point victory over a team that is now ranked.500, especially at home, you are not incorrect. The long-term outlook for Golden State, at least as it is now built, continues to hold a pessimistic outlook. 

Curry, however, need this. This was critical for the Warriors.

“Steph’s been through a lot the last few days, with the Draymond news,” according to Steve Kerr. Let’s be honest: during the first three months of the season, he has been the one who has been needed to carry this team. Not only have we been unable to find lineups that were clicking, but we have also been unable to develop momentum. And so he has carried us. Then there was the news about Draymond. I believe that [Curry] has been depleted emotionally over the past three days.
