Warriors’ star Draymond Green ejected for hitting Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic in the head

The Suns and the Warriors are scheduled to meet one other on Tuesday night in Phoenix, Arizona.

As a result of the two flagrant fouls that Draymond Green incurred, he was taken out of the game without recourse.

During the time that the Warriors were inbounding the ball, Jusuf Nurkic was protecting Green.

Green retaliated by punching Nurkic in the face while they were engaged in a physical altercation about positioning.

Green recorded a double-double after 17 minutes of playing time on the floor, contributing two points, two boards, and an assist while shooting 33 percent from the field. As a result of an altercation that occurred on November 14 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Green was issued a ban that would last for five games.Green has participated in 14 games prior to tonight’s game, during which he had averaged 10.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 6.1 assists while shooting 49.5% from the field and 45.0% from beyond the arc with his overall shooting percentage.

In spite of the fact that he is the team’s best defender and a leader, he does not score a lot of goals.

Draymond Green of the Warriors was ejected from the game against the Suns.

If you are going to collapse, make a spectacular exit.

With eight minutes and twenty-three seconds left in the third quarter, the big man Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors was called for a foul on the center Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns. The penalty occurred after Green whirled around and physically touched Nurkic.

After the review, it was discovered that Green had punched Nurkic, which resulted in a technical foul and Green’s removal from the game.

Given that Green has a long history of producing acts that are comparable to this one, it is highly likely that this will not be the last time that he gets fired for an act of this nature. Green is described as a “irty” player by a significant number of NBA players.

Having spent seventeen minutes on the field, Green departed. In addition to his two assists and two rebounds, he also scored two points and recorded a shooting percentage of 1-3 from the field.

Frank Vogel, the coach of the Suns, had nothing but praise for Green before the game:

The aforementioned qualities—attitude, intelligence, toughness, and edge—are all present. Not only is he a legend on that side of the ball, but his work as their offense’s quarterback is also enormously underestimated. He is a legend. For them, he is a player who possesses outstanding versatility.

As many Suns-Warriors games have been played in Phoenix in as many games, this is the second player to be expelled from the game. The previous player to be removed was Chris Paul, who was thrown out of the game just minutes into the previous game.

In the third quarter, the Warriors were leading by a score of 70-66 at the time that this article was published.
