The Whitechapel Centre is one of Liverpool’s largest homelessness charities, and it is facing an unprecedented demand for its services this Christmas. With the number of rough sleepers in the city rising by over 50% in the past year, the need for support is greater than ever.

Trent, along with Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram and Liverpool City Council leader Liam Robinson, spent the morning helping to pack emerge𝚗cy parcels containing gifts, vouchers, clothing, and sanitary products. The parcels will be distributed to nearly 2,000 people across Merseyside who are relying on the Whitechapel Centre’s services this Christmas.

Speaking about his decision to volunteer, Trent said: “It was a no-brainer for me to help out at the Whitechapel Centre. I’m aware of the growing homelessness crisis in Liverpool, and I wаnted to do my bit to help those who are less fortunate.”

“This time of year is already tough for many people, but it’s especially difficult for those who are homeless. I hope that by packing these parcels, we can bring a little bit of joy and Christmas cheer to those who need it most.”

Trent’s actions have been widely praised by fans and the local community alike. His decision to use his platform to raise awareness of the homelessness crisis and to support the work of the Whitechapel Centre sends a powerful message about the importance of giving back to others.

This isn’t the first time that Trent has used his platform to promote positive change. In 2020, he launched the “Trent Alexander-Arnold Foundation” which aims to support young people in Liverpool through education, sport, and mentoring programs.
