Gary Neville serenaded Manchester United legend Paul Scholes during dinner on Friday, leaving him furious.

Scholes and former teammate went out for Christmas dinner when a band started playing Frankie Valli’s ‘Can’t take my eyes off you’.

Paul Scholes was serenaded at dinner with Gary Neville.

The United legend was unimpressed.

He showed the camera his middle finger.

A singer, cellist, and saxophonist played the popular song next to the former United midfielder, who sat uneasily.

He pointed his middle finger at the camera when he saw Neville was filming.

One fan laughed: “If discomfort had a face! Poor guy.”

“Brother was embarrassed and happy at the same time .”

A third fan said, “I can feel the discomfort through the screen.”

A fourth said, “Waiting for ‘I love you Scholesy’ .”

Around 20 years, Neville and Scholes were Man Utd teammates.

They each won 12 Premier League titles, four FA Cups, and two Champions League titles as Class of ’92 members.

The pair co-own League Two team Salford City.

Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt, and David Beckham invested in the club in 2014.
