Liverpool’s goal came from Salah in the 76th minute. Elliott’s strike from outside the box in the first minute of injury time reached the back of the net.

It was Salah’s 200th goal for Liverpool, and Elliott, who was dubbed “special” by a teammate, was all over the 31-year-old forward for the Egyptian national team following the game.

Elliott told TNT Sports about Salah: “I think my finish today sums up what I’ve learnt from him.

“If I keep talking about what I’ve learnt and how much of an influence he’s been on me, I think everyone will start getting bored.

“Ever since I came through the door he’s always been by my side and looked after me. It’s just a pleasure to share the pitch with such a legend. He deserved getting his 200th goal today, no one works as hard as him and as I say, it just sums him up.”

A legend of Liverpool, Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah is a Liverpool legend and, in my opinion, one of the best players to have ever played in the Premier League. He is, in fact.

Salah did not have much of an impact while at Chelsea, but after moving to AS Roma and having a great run there, he took the Premier League by storm.

One of the key components of Liverpool’s most recent Premier League and UEFA Champions League victories has been Salah.
