In 2021, O’Neal told Me𝚗’s Journal that his sister, Ayesha Harrison-Jex, died before Kobe Bryant.
“After Kobe, 28 others died.
I didn’t want to do anything in 2020 since it was horrible.
“So, when you don’t want to do anything, but you need to stay out of trouble, there’s two things you can do: Eat and Netflix.”After starting to “look old,” O’Neal realized he needed to adjust his lifestyle.
Bread, “late-night lemon Oreos,” and Entenmann’s pastries gone.
O’Neal chose modest servings of fruit, vegetables, protein drinks, salads, salmon, and poultry.
He increased his routines to 20 minutes of cardio, 30-45 minutes of “some “chest, bis, tris, sit-ups,” and back training. This helped O’Neal shed 25-30 pounds by June 2021.
He joked, “An hour a day will keep the Charles Barkley belly away.”
O’Neal has kept in shape and posted Instagram footage of his exercises since then.
On Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast in October 2022, he discussed his weight reduction and wants “to become a sеx symbol.”
“I was 401 pounds,” O’Neal said. I’m 365. Restoring 345 is my goal.
“I want to have muscles everywhere, and I want to do an underwear ad with my sons [for] Fruit of the Looms, baby.”
O’Neal posted images of his transformation in October 2023 with the caption: “Time to transform.”
