According to ESPN, the NBA is concerned about the uniforms’ visual contrast with the T-Mobile Arena court.

Instead, the Lakers will wear gold jerseys in Las Vegas against the Pelicans.

In homage of Kobe Bryant, the team went 4-1 in the 2020 NBA bubble wearing “Black Mamba” uniforms. 

The other semifinal of the inaugural in-season competition features the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks.

ESPN and Kevin Hart established a partnership this week before the event’s final on December 9.

NBA Unplugged with Kevin Hart is produced by the network, Omaha Productions, and Hartbeat.

This new show will highlight how “Hart and his friends watch the NBA with lively discussion, debate and banter.”

NBA.com reports that the tournament winners will receive $500,000 apiece and the runners-up $200,000 each.
