O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith were challenged to decorate a giant cookie with a Christmas tree on Monday night to end Inside The NBA’s broadcast.

O’Neal forgot to ice his tree before adding sprinkles and sweets.
Food Network judge and host Ernie Johnson set the challenge.
Each artist got 90 seconds to create a masterpiece using a huge cookie, colorful frosting, and various confectionaries.
O’Neal traced a small tree with icing.
Instead, he filled the inside with loose sprinkles and candy.
Johnson wondered, “Why don’t you put some stuff [in] and then let that stick to it?”
But O’Neal said, “I know what I’m doing.”
After their time was up, O’Neal called himself “the champion,” but Johnson pointed out his major mistake.
As Johnson predicted, everything bar the outline dropped to the table after requesting O’Neal to hold his work to the camera.
The team laughed, and O’Neal saw the humor.
Barkley’s stick-thin angular tree, which Johnson compared to A Charlie Brown Christmas tree, was equally forgettable.
When asked what was wrong, Johnson replied, “If you turned it the other way, it looks exactly the same.”
Smith won handily with marshmallows, chocolate chips, and basketball ornaments.
Johnson said Smith could eat the cookie.
