Lakers' LeBron James goes full Stephen Curry with 3-point barrage vs Pelicans

At the age of 38, LeBron James is adding more firsts to his illustrious career, aiming to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to victory in the inaugural NBA Cup. Despite his career three-point percentage of 34.5%, James is showcasing his prowess from beyond the arc, reminiscent of Steph Curry, widely regarded as the greatest shooter of all time.

In the semifinals of the NBA In-Season Tournament against the New Orleans Pelicans, the four-time MVP displayed a Curry-esque performance by sinking three consecutive three-pointers and contributing to an 11-3 Lakers run. This scoring spree, which included a jumper from the logo, propelled the Lakers to a halftime lead of 67-54, with James leading the game with 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting and four assists.

While the Lakers may not be the favorites in the NBA In-Season Tournament due to injuries and strategic considerations for the regular season and potential playoffs, they find themselves just one win away from advancing to the finals against the emerging Indiana Pacers in Las Vegas.
