Arsenal are plotting a January move for Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yildiz, according to reports.
Mikel Arteta is eager to add to his squad next month as he looks to lead the Gunners to their first Premier League title in 20 years.
Arsenal are interested in Kenan Yildiz
And Turkish-Football claim that Yildiz is one of his preferred targets.
After joining Juventus from Bayern Munich in the summer, the 18-year-old made his debut with the first team at the beginning of the campaign.
Since then, he has played five senior games for the heavyweights of Serie A.
In October, Yildiz received his first senior call-up to the Turkish national team.
The forward’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Germany marked the beginning of his international career.
Due to his strong play this season, he has drawn interest from teams such Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas, and Liverpool.
However, it’s known that Arsenal will make a bid for him in January.
Since Yildiz’s current deal expires in June 2027, the Gunners will probably need to make Juventus a sizable offer in order to get them to sell.
During an October post-match press conference, manager Massimiliano Allegri extolled the virtues of the teenager’s skill.
He said: “In my opinion, he becomes a wonderful player, stopping the ball as he stops.”
Arsenal have also been linked with Ivan Toney, Pedro Neto and Douglas Luiz ahead of the January transfer window.
